It’s been nearly 3 weeks since we last visit to the vet. Chester had his stitches removed from his ear (due to hematoma surgery). Well, I don’t think his ear is completely okay. I can still feel some liquid in there. I’m going to let him rest a bit before bringing him in for another confirmation. Trauma for him lo. Kesian…
Taken 3 weeks ago. No more stitches. Yeah tell me about it.
This is red 3 weeks ago. It’s not so red now.
But I’m not going back to that lousy vet. I’m going to a new one near my old school. Talk about mishandling of pets, lousy treatment and not being attentive enough. I don’t see any compassion at all.
Just because Chester is difficult to handle, doesn’t mean they can simply do their job. I found bits and pieces of ‘threads’ still attach to his ear when we got home. Hai hai hai 
Would you believe it if I told you that Chester is still fighting with ticks? Actually it’s me fighting with ticks because I’m the one who search ‘em and kill ‘em. It’s been how many months now? Hmm… 4… 5… 6 months!!! Maybe apart of it is my fault because I didn’t apply tick medicine on him. According to his lousy vet ex-lousy vet, tick medicine won’t work when ticks are aplenty. It’ll only work when it’s just starting. So I followed her (the vet) advice. Maybe wrong move la.
Woah… a large tick is spotted biting Chester’s butt. 
Just the other day, I bath Chester with Dettol… still plenty of ticks and he smell funny after that. I’m going to apply tick medicine on Chester later today. Promise. Promise. Promise.

Try the tick collar and shampoo in addition to Frontline Plus. That will definitely kill those pesky little things. I see Chester’s ear, I pun sakit hati. Hope it heals fast.

get a tick jab for chester. i brought bobby to the vet last night for one. RM15 per jab, can last 3 months. also bobby is wearing a tick collar. yes, we are THAT paranoid.

the vet is right. the medicine doesnt work when there r tick colonies. u have to do it the old fashioned way. bathe chester as often as possible and catch ticks as much as u can. it is a constant battle. eventually there will come a time when u seem to be winiing. then the medicine will help u further.
