Today is the 2nd day of 2008 and I’m still on leave. Don’t be jealous. Hehe.
New year’s eve was spent lazing at home with bed, idiot box and ice-cream as my precioussss.
Remember I bought a plant recently? Cupressus Goldcrest. Well, like I said I’m not very good with plant. Missy Goldcrest is browning. I watered her and gave her sunshine but she decided to say bye-bye. Urgghh. Anyway I already have an idea what I want to plant next.

There’s nothing much left in the fridge today. I’m too lazy to go shopping for greeneries and tapau. So what I do is I search the fridge and larder for stuff that I can cook to make a good lunch.

Campbell mushroom+seafood soup.
Baked sliced onions+carrot as fillings.
Toasted Swedish rolls with cardamom.
Plus a dash of fresh rosemary.
Next up is ice-cream!
I  the smell of fresh rosemary. They smell so much different from the dried version. The fresh one smell so exotic and heavenly. Make you like wanna grab a whole bunch and just put it in your mouth. Hahaha. I’m still looking for nursery that sell herbs plant. I’m dying to add fresh bay leaves, rosemary, oregano, thyme and basil to my cooking. I know we can get it at hypermarkets but I want to have my own herbs garden.

Happy New Year … how come you can’t plant anything well one ?? Maybe you don’t have green fingers.
melampau! you can’t take care of a plant and you want to have a whole herb garden?!?! hahahaha. about your poor little cupressus, try putting it outside the house in a partly sunny, partly shady place. then just leave it. only water it when the weather gets too dry.
sometimes plants do very well when they’re left to their own devices
hahaha!!! hedo, i think i’m like che-cheh oso. tried but failed very sadly! lol
anyway, hope it’s not too late but here’s wishing u a more productive new year ahead n that hopefully, your 2008 resolution will come true.
no such thing as not having green fingers..every plant n animal strives to survive. there must be a reason. are u over watering it?
try hardy plants first like bougainvilleas, fu kui hua or ferns. learn from experience
