Photo Hunters: Tiny

Photo Hunters

This week’s PhotoHunt theme is fairly easy because I knew which photos I’m going to post. Read on.

Place: Hobbiton
Transport: Gandalf’s carriage

Check mate dude. Bang! bang! bang!

Big vs tiny

Aiyo I’m scared! :nailbiting:

Big vs tiny

Both photos were taken at the Lord Of The Rings Exhibition in Singapore, 3 years back.

There were 2 different size carts and 2 cameras. Using photography trick called scaling and a little bit of help from modern digital technology, one of us were shrunk down to hobbit size and the other enlarged to Gandalf size. Then both pictures were joined together to form Giant and Tiny humans like above.

This is the same special effect used in the Gandalf and Frodo scene at the beginning of The Fellowship of the Ring and the scenes where Gandalf sits down for a cup of tea at Bag End.

Happy Weekend!

Meeyauw, it was one of the highlights in the exhibition. We need to pay in order for our picture to be taken.
