Remember the lovely daisy and chrysanthemum flowers which I posted for Chinese New Year 2010? Yeah we went back to that nursery again. This time my mom wanted to get a new palm tree to add extra umph to our home and replace a recently ‘cha to mou tak cheng’ herbal plant. Haha
That was a Sunday. I remembered the morning of that day. It was the prettiest Sunday morning in 2010 (so far).Β It was also the day I tagged along with my parents to the cool rattan shop before stopping at the plant nursery.
Unfortunately it was noon when we reached the nursery. The pretty day had turned into a hot and windy afternoon. I stayed close by the car. The last 2 shots below were taken from inside the car actually. LOL.
Come feast your eyes on these pretty bougainvilleas (leaves only actually haha) and my current obsession: BLUE POTS!!! They’re so pretty oi.
Sparkling pots. Love the bokeh.
Wooden planks found ‘stranded’ under a shade.
Bonsai bougainvillea.
Pretty but not grand enough. Need to back off a little since 50mm is tight.
Ahh yeah blue pots!
My obsession!!! I LOVE BLUE.
The lazy shot which I took from inside the car. Kekeke. Turned out not bad la ya?
Reach for the sky!
Another lazy shot. I like this picture a lot.
That’s all. π
p/s: Took quite a few purple/red bougainvillea pictures but they turned out bad. The color bleeds hell! I read that’s a problem with all Nikon cameras even the ‘keng chow’ D3X also have this problem.

Nice blue pots, but where are the bougainvilleas??
Foongpc, only leaves hahaha
love the 4th shot, from afar afar can fake it as sakura. lol
Xin, hahaha yes yes.
Simply love the bokeh, so nice. The last picture is pretty. Every time I see bright blue skies, it means a super hot day (summer time) I will go hide in the house, winter time, it’s the opposite, I’m out and about. π
Dawn, yeah me love the bokeh too. I cannot tahan too hot and also too cold. Mild ok la.
