I thought I’ve missed the Women’s Singles Champion match when i woke up at 8.30am today but the match has just started. Lucky me. 
My favourite tennis player, Justine Henin was in the US Open final playing against Svetlana Kuznetsova. To tell you the truth, I’ve seen better tennis from Henin e.g. 2007 French Open.
Henin emerged as the champion at the end of the day. She had 7 double faults, 57% first serve in and 21 unforced errors. As opposed to Kuznetsova who had 0 (nil) double fault, 75% first serve in and 29 unforced errors which I think is not much. The only difference that makes one a champion and another a loser is the winners serve, 25 for Henin and 11 only for Kuznetsova.
The match ended 6-3, 6-1

This is Henin 2nd US Open Grand Slam title and her 7th Grand Slam career title. Wohoo!
Men’s Singles Championship match will commence tomorrow morning between *yawn* Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. I couldn’t watch the game (working ma) but I do REALLY hope that someone in the form of Djokovic can defeat Federer. No one has defeated Federer in any of the 3 Grand Slam in recent years (except French Open).
p/s: Did ya saw Novak Djokovic impression on Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal the other day? So funny!

personally this ‘support’ made them play way better. i’d always thought if they wore ankle support, wrist support, knee support… why discarded the bras ya??!! designers finally got it right!!! :tongue:
sheesh!!! missed djokovic impression too. :grrr: his match was boring so i hit the sack early.
i liked the women’s attire in this slam. most of ‘em looked elegant n they finally see sense in wearing bras. heh!heh!
