Happy Chinese kok kok kok New Year!
I’m not too late in wishing you all, right? Fact is I didn’t have CNY mood a week ago. But today, I’m super excited. Maybe because we’re celebrating Jade Emperor’s birthday midnight tonight and I will get to eat tonnes of angku kueh. Hehe
I visited the century old Kuan Yin temple in Klang today. Here are some photos which I took at the temple:
Incense sticks or joss sticks. When you have extra stick(s), put it here. I never understand why the temple never provide the exact number of sticks. There’s always extra one or two. Hmm…
I visited Kuan Yin Temple at Setapak in KL with my family on 3rd day of Chinese New Year this year. This time my grandma tagged along. *happy* I also had my DSLR with me. I snapped some photos of the temple surrounding while my mom and grandma were busy talking with the monk. Check ’em out below. I also did a photography session on this temple three years ago. Feel free to check it out here.
A pair of mandarin orange trees at the temple entrance. Don’t be wowed by the large oranges. They don’t belong to the trees. Haha
There’s not much to do on day 7 since basically our Jeonju trip is kinda free and easy. We woke up late and depart to our breakfast place at 10am. Hehe Check out our kongnamul gukbap breakfast at Waengi.
Cute ain’t it? This is rice and sweet potato crackers. It’s not super sweet. A lil’ bland but yummy.
Actually I have no plan of visiting Busan. The only reason I made a sleep-over in Busan is because I wanted to visit Jinhae cherry blossom. Jinhae is about 1 hour by bus from Busan. However after having visited some of Busan tourist spots the previous day and today, I kinda fall in love with Busan. 🙂
Today is the day we visited Jinhae.
Morning walk in Busan city to Seomyeon subway.
Today day 4 we packed our bags and head to the airport. We’re leaving Jeju (kinda sad) and yet excited for what’s coming next. We departed from Yilin Pension at 7am and reached KT Kumho at 8.25am.
On the way we pumped the car again since the petrol gauge has gone down a bit. We need to return the car back to KT Kumho in full tank. 3.646 litre for 7,000 won. Haha
