Loved Hands

One fine day I found myself getting really bored in the car. What do you think I did? I start snapping away with my camera.

Here’s a series of hand shots of my loved ones…

Dad. From this shot you sense power, sternness & authority.

Mom. Ahh sweet, precious & understanding.

Sister. Honest, steady & quite tough. Still a kiddo in my eyes. πŸ˜›

The typical mama-in-control pose. πŸ™‚

Photos taken using 50mm f/1.8. I heart this lens so mucho.

Hope you had a great weekend. Monday is starting soon…

Annant, to be frank with you I’ve not hold their hands for a long time (wow just realized that!) except for my grandma, I need to hold her when maid is not around to help.

Foongpc, yup they tell stories. Thank You πŸ™‚

Jemima, haha but no one is interested to take pic of my hands. That’s the life of a photographer. Haha

Xin, Thank You! πŸ™‚ Though the dad pic is somewhat normal compared to the others but it did give out a strong message. Glad you appreciate that.

I love my 50mm lens too! The f/1.8 is fast enough for you to take those shots while the car is shaking. Kudos to VR/IS systems!!

Ok.. I’m dreaming of my Canon 100mm L macro lens now.. *slurp*..

Dawn, glad I can share these pictures with you all. πŸ™‚

Keeyit, ahh yes come join the DSLR bandwagon. πŸ™‚ Which brand or model are you eyeing?

Angie Tan, Yeah f/1.8 is good enough. Haha I can see you ‘lau nua’ even from here. I’m dreaming of a wide angle lens.

Long time didn’t read or write blog posts liao… I’m back again. That’s a very simple theme yet great pictures. You take your dslr everywhere eh?

  • Reply Che-Cheh December 9, 2009 at 12:09 pm

Hcfoo, suddenly you’re awaken hehe and active Thank you Nadal! Hahaha. Nope I don’t bring my dslr everywhere. I wish I could but sometimes feel kinda bulky plus with the large camera bag… kinda ‘tayang’ to everyone. So either I left it at home or in the car (hidden) hehe. And if I bring out nowadays I prefer putting my dslr in my sling bag.

how much is the tripod ah?? might wanna get one soon…

anyway, I recently got myself a SunPak (RD2000) flash, pretty good stuff, and not that expensive also…

I bought from this guy, and it’s cheaper than Shashinki.com

    Bengbeng, πŸ™‚

Dreckker, this Gorillapod is only about 30cm in heigh and cost about RM270+. For the normal tripod I’m using Vitacom.

Flash is not my priority right now as I prefer shooting using natural light. I’m hoping to get a wide angle lens. πŸ™‚ Yes not everything from Shashini.com is cheap. Hehe

wide angle lens ehh?? I’m also interested in getting that… hehehe… most probably next year when my friend comes back from the states, will get him to help me buy and bring back one… did some price comparison on a Tamron 10-24mm… price difference about RM500… =)

Nice hands shot with your 50mm f1.8. I’m hoping to get a wide angle lens too, for my trip to europe next year… πŸ™‚ My fren is using a Sigma 10-24mm on D90 which is not bad either.

  • Reply Che-Cheh December 13, 2009 at 10:38 am

Dreckker, sounds good. πŸ™‚ I’ve yet to check on Tamron and Sigma.

Cecil Lee, I’m looking for a fast wide angle lens… like f/2.8. Surely cost a lot. Yes you need a wide angle for your Europe trip. πŸ™‚ A MUST!
