First post of 2012. Howdy! π
The past 9 days, well my life has been a see-saw. Ups and downs; been sick, been wonderfully happy, been fighting, been victorious, been doing lots of research, been ipad-ed and at the moment am pretty lazy. Haha
Chinese New Year is less than 2 weeks. Wohoo. Now that’s something to look forward to… cookies I can’t wait to MUNCH YA!
Chester is pretty chubby now. I wonder what the doc is gonna say when I bring him in for health screening (blood analysis + customary annual jabs) soon. We didn’t had any blood analysis done last year because my dear dog was resisting hard (until it was so painful to watch). The doc has no way drawing blood from his paws (only managed to shave some paw fur LOL). Perhaps getting to know my dog (so that Chester can trust her) and a little treat will be the answer. Wish I’m a vet because Chester trusted me. Hahaha I’m praying hard Chester will calm down and the result will be good.
Didn’t do any cooking or baking so far (told you I’m lazy) but am looking at several recipes to try.
Oh btw found another hematoma at his ‘non-surgery’ ear about 2 weeks ago. So it’s lamp shade (elizabethan collar) again. Why my dog is so prone to hematoma? Arggh

Happy new year, and you’re so lucky to have a new iPad!
Happy New Year! The iPad is not mine but I get to use it freely. Not bad. Haha
hope that you are having better days now π
Good days, bad days… they are all life’s lessons. π
Looks like you have alot of different mood combination in the pass weeks le… 2012 should be a busy year again ya….
To chester, no worry be happy. Health screening is just easy.. π [ I know how to say only, I myself also scared to go to health screening actually…. keep on dragging…. dragging….]
To Che-Cheh, wish you have a good start in 2012. Be healthy and happy~
Yeah changing moods. Wish you the best in 2012 too.
Scare of the needle? I used to be one too but I managed to overcome my fear of needles. Now dentist… still quite nervous le.
Take it one day at a time! I’m lazy myself. Hope you are feeling better now.
That’s a nice pic of Chester boy. I’m thinking of an iPad or Galaxy Tab but it might never happen….it’s just monkey see, monkey do! π
I too wonder how vet techs draw blood on the dogs/cats…must be lots of treats on hand or they have a bunch of them hold the animal down.
Yeah doing just that. π
The iPad is a ‘game console’ (LOL) so beware if you don’t want to be lure into the world of games. Kekeke
The vet assistant tried holding him but no use. I guess the best way is to have the dog trust you or make ’em comfortable (e.g. treats, talking and soothing the dog).
Happy New Year 2012! LOL! Wow! You have an iPad? Nice! Ups and downs – that’s all part and parcel of life. Good luck to Chester’s medical check-up! : )
Same to you π
Nope. I don’t have an iPad but I get to pinjam it anytime. Kekeke
