Sayonara To BlackBerry Curve 8520

I bade goodbye to my BlackBerry Curve 8520 this early August after 3 years. It was my 8th handphone and secretly I’m glad to let it go.

At first one of the side button starts to peel off, then one by one other buttons follow suit. I’m guessing it’s either my toxic sweat or the ‘rubbery’ material are worn. Since I seldom use those buttons, I was fine with it. Then the side panels made of the same material came off. And I’m still fine with it. I dropped the phone many times (Not purposely la. I’m a klutzy person) and yet the BB still function well.

Buttons missing and now all you can see is the button sensors.

LEGO Star Wars Watch

My sis got me another present during her training stint. The first one was a Joby Gorillapod. My 2nd present is a LEGO Star Wars watch!

It’s a LEGO watch where you get to build/connect the watch bands in any pattern you like. Simple as that… very a little childish I know but what the heck you can’t find it here because it comes with Star Wars characters. πŸ˜›

I may be a Luke Skywalker & Yoda ‘fansi’ and I don’t care if you give me anything with Darth Vader on it.

Ok actually I care. Choosing Darth Vader means stepping nearer to the dark side. LOL But aiya what to do, sis asked me to hurry up as the LEGO shop was closing soon. So I said OK Darth Vader lo (since Luke Skywalker one is not that nice – according to her)

Cute box.
Do you know that I have a Lego Darth Vader (similar to the one on this box)?
Come read my funny short post about Star Wars and along the way you will see it.

My First Laptop: Dell Studio 14

I may be the last person on earth to own a laptop (sound so ulu) but I don’t care. I still want to blog about it. Haha I’m still a pc person at heart you know?

I wanted a HP laptop for the longest time but I don’t want to spend unnecessary amount of $$ for stuff that I can get cheaper elsewhere and for this case I can get higher and better specification too (except the Nvidia part). So that’s why I choose to get Dell as my first laptop. Though a bit reluctant at first to order online since this is biggie $$ stuff but that’s the only way to get a customize Dell. So no choice.

I placed my order on 12th December last year. And every day since then I check for the ETD date at the Dell website. First they mentioned the delivery date is 5th January (WTF??) and then it was changed to 1st January. I was like HUH?? HUH?? Do they need that long to build a laptop? Then on 23rd December I received a SMS informing me the laptop will be delivered the next day. True enough I got my laptop on 24th December. Still it took 12 days. Haii. It was delivered from China. But I still want to haiii…

My Joby Gorillapod SLR-Zoom

Gorillapod. Hmm what’s in that name?

I’m sure you must have heard or seen it before somewhere. But if you have not, allow me to explain. Gorillapod is a tripod but it’s not just ANY tripod. This is the most popular flexible tripod in the market. It can cling on anything… on branches, at door handle, on rocky surface and even human. Yes human. Why not? As long as you don’t move during snapshot.

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Gorillapod for the longest time. I asked my sis to get one for me when she was training oversea since the ground shipping is free. In the end she said she will buy for me FOC. Thank You mui mui. Hehe

Behold my Joby Gorillapod SLR-Zoom. I got it with the ballhead combo. (thank god for this new feature!)
