Can’t believe 10 years have passed. I was happy to own a golden retriever finally on 11th November 2003. You were 5 weeks old then.
A day after Chester came into our life. He was so cute and tiny!
This photo gave me a big chuckle because he still has this exact habit 10 years later. LOL
Look at you now! So big and handsome and charming and cute and intelligent. You are my joy and happiness. Tears will always be there when I think how much I misses you (even though you’re just beside me). That’s how much I love you.
Don’t stop being you. You may be old, but I don’t see it. I only see a cheery looking golden that always smile and stay by its owner. You’re stubborn, cheeky and very manja at times too.

It’s very difficult to get photos of him and me together. That’s where his stubborn part come in. Whenever I point the camera at us, he’ll look away. I love these photos of us. Taken right in front of our beloved home by me. It looks like I’m mimicking his facial expression. I didn’t do it on purpose. I guess we can read each other’s minds?
Chester’s morning birthday treat: Steamed pumpkin, cucumber and minced carrots and lettuce.
For dinner, I’ll give him steamed pumpkin, cucumber and mackeral fish from Wish Bone. Plus dessert!

Happy 10th birthday to Chester!! How old is that in dog’s years? Oh, I didn’t know his full name is Chester Bennington Q! What inspired you to give him this name?
Thanks! Some say 50+ while some say 60+ in dog years. Dunno which one is correct. His name Chester Bennington come from my love for Linkin Park, the main vocalist name is also Chester Bennington and also ManCHESTER United… see the word Chester? While Q is my surname… thus Chester’s surname too. My surname is pronounced as Q but of course spelling different. 🙂
