Chester, Chitty Chatty

Chester, Go Find!

My last post was a week plus ago. This is so not me!

I have so many mix thoughts lately. Which is not good by the way. I’m searching. Searching my being. How can a person changed so drastically after a serious turn of event. Maybe this is the way it is so that she will learn to walk, run & be happy again. She needs to figure out what she really wants in life & go do it! Don’t be the ego thinker. Don’t be the imagination. Be the executioner.

I’m sure you’re at loss. Don’t bother.

Anyway I’m sure you all miss Chester?

He’s as cheeky & brilliant as ever. The only thing that is bothering me right now is his body allergic. And I just found out that he has been licking his old paw wound… making it worse. Grrr! Really I must find time this week for a vet checkup.

Our current favorite game is ‘Find’. I’ll hide a treat somewhere in the house and then Chester will go find it. He’s amazing at that. And oh believe it or not my dog can catch a tennis ball that is placed on the tip of his nose?! Too bad I don’t have a video camera at the mo.

And I’ve been experimenting with cloth pad. Ahem. Menstrual cloth pad. Will blog about it in a separate post once I gather enough information. Still experimenting ma. And I need some new ones to further clarify my finding. Kekeke

iWalk, yeah dreaming kekeke :daydream: Ok giving him a HUGE HUG now!

CK, it’s not difficult to take care of a dog. Moreover GR is an intelligent dog. They learn pretty fast. And they are darlings!

People change. Sometimes they just need an event to let them see their true colour. :p

This is my first time meeting chester. He is cute o.

You will figure it out what you want, time will tell. Oh yes, Chester boy, wah you even get him to do tricks. Me lazy with my boys! Oh yah, do let us know how your experience with cloth pads. I   them and will not trade them for disposables again.

  • Reply Che-Cheh August 27, 2009 at 10:37 pm

    Tekkaus, Hehe Chester WOOF! :dog:

Dawn, I guess so. God will show us the way. πŸ™‚ I thought I didn’t teach him enough tricks le. hahaha My only problem with the cloth pad is side leakage. Do you have the same problem?

  • Reply Angie Tan August 28, 2009 at 12:29 am

Awwww!!! That’s a neat trick. I taught Snoopy to go look for people. Like, “Where is Old Man? Go find him!”… She’ll go and look for my Dad. πŸ˜†

Put an e-collar on Chester to stop his licking. Rusty thinks the e-collar makes him look cool. He’s also biting his tail.. Aiii…

Licking his old paw wound? Put some chili on it… wahahahahahaa

  • Reply xin August 28, 2009 at 3:42 pm

hey hey pls do a report on the cloth pad πŸ˜› i have been thinking abt it since months ago, but havent got the guts to try :hypnotized:

  • Reply Che-Cheh August 28, 2009 at 7:14 pm

Angie Tan, Chester is a bit lost in that department. Sometimes he’ll go to the correct person and sometimes not. Not sure he purposely or what. We don’t have the ‘lampshade’ haha. A vet gave us one but it was too big so we just discard it away.

Neo,  ohmygod you’re so funny!! :clown:

Xin, I just ordered a new type. So it’ll be 1 month later before I can write a report… ahem you know la. Hahaha Just go and try it. I’m loving my cloth pad baby!

We all do have highs and lows in life. Life is like that, isn’t it? No matter what, life goes on! Great to know you have finally accepted cloth pads! I remember you were quite reluctant when I first blogged about it here – http://lifeislikethat.com/?p=823.

  • Reply Dawn August 28, 2009 at 10:55 pm

I get those with “wings” that are snapped on. Sometimes I do have some side leakage if I don’t change them soon enough. Try fussybutt.com, they have really good cloth pads. Also I bought from Amaz Padz Online http://hyenacart.com/AmazPadz/. They are a little pricey but very worth it.

  • Reply Dawn August 28, 2009 at 10:56 pm

Oh I was going to say my favs are from Amaz Padz Online, super comfy and the outside liner works like a charm for side leakages.

  • Reply Che-Cheh August 28, 2009 at 11:58 pm

Jam, yup πŸ™‚ life is like that. And yes I was very reluctant when I read it at your blog about cloth pads. Haha Then I read Dawn trying it and I thought about it for a VERY LONG TIME. Finally I bought some and wah la what can I say? I like it very mucho. LOL.

Dawn, I’m trying the one from newmoonpads. The one that you blogged about it some time ago. Oh I am definitely going to try Amaz Padz but I’m a little confused la. She sell the snap on one separately ka? 12″ Linerz must go with 11″ regular pad and cannot use for 14″ night-time pad? Haha Sorry I must be confusing you too.

Btw TinyTapir in Malaysia are selling cloth pads from fussybutt too.

  • Reply annant August 30, 2009 at 10:44 am

    how young is chester ar?
mine already 4yo, still can train ar?

  • Reply Che-Cheh August 30, 2009 at 11:00 am

Annant, Chester is 5 years and 10 months old. Lau ahpek already. πŸ˜€ Sure, training is lifetime. As long as you know what is your dog’s fav thing (food or toy), you can use it to train your dog. Like Chester is a food loving dog (actually which dog doesn’t like food ya?), so I use some treats to train him.

Not sure what you are talking about in the first part of your post.

Wow! Chester so clever? Must show the video!

Cloth pad? Yeah, do tell us how you wash it! I want to know even though I’m a man! haha!

  • Reply Che-Cheh August 31, 2009 at 2:47 pm

Foongpc, haha. When I have the Lumix with me I’ll take a video ya. Why man want to know? hahahaha Just wash it like you wash your underwear lo.

New Moon Pads, they are just alright, yes with leakage which I quickly rectify it by changing it more often. also what i did was sewed lines on the pad which helps with the leakage. If you want to get Amaz padz, get the AIO – all in one pads. the liner is bigger than the pad itself. So it helps with leakage. I have 2 brand new ones unopen. Email me your address and I can mail it to you to try it out.

  • Reply jam September 1, 2009 at 11:35 am

Ya, try Tiny Tapir. They have a physical store somewhere in KL too!

  • Reply Che-Cheh September 1, 2009 at 11:36 pm

Dawn, I ordered Ultra pad from New Moon recently. They were having free shipping then. Wehee. Will try it out next month. Haha ohh so it’s called the AIO. ic ic I thought must purchase the liner and pad separately. Ohh nvm la. You keep it for yourself. It’s quite $$. Haha

Jam, yup I read in the paper they have store in KL.
