Chester

Dog-Cat Fight

Chester was involved in a dog-cat fight (first one!) few days ago. It was my fault 100%.

You see a cat was lazing away near our kitchen back door. I tried shooing it away without success. So I thought “Hey, why not ask my dog for help?”

So I called Chester to the kitchen: “Chester, you wanna see cat-cat?” He knows what a cat is.

I have the back door open a little, just enough for my dog’s head to go through. I can’t risk my dog lunging at the cat ma. So Chester was standing at the small gap barking but… the cat hissed and pawed at Chester. Chester did avoid the cat’s ‘punch’ and continue barking away. I didn’t realized his nose was bleeding until he has his head turned to me. Oopps!

Fight ended with the score: Chester 0 – 1 Cat

Chester so sorry ya. Me nottie.

Here’s his nose condition few days later…

With the nose scar… Hey at least my dog now looks like a ‘samseng’. Hehe

Happy weekend peeps!

that’s ok, they are boys ma, macho chester. Ranger had his nose scratched by a cat and thorns from some brush while out in the woods.

I guess that was nothing to Chester coz he still bark at that cat this morning. I bet he didn’t even know he got a scarred nose! Haha

Ouuu… All my buds at home (Indonesia) are trained to kill cats and rats… they tend to come in to our kitchen and contaminate the plates. So… We never had that problem since 12 years ago. Sounds brutal… I know, but still better than getting all sorts of exotic infections.
Go Chester! He’ll win next time!
That’s some manly (matured dogly) scar there. Hahaha.

Trained to kill cats and rats… Wuahhhhh
All I’m afraid of is him getting rabies. Other than that I’m cool about it.

My mom’s way of catching rats without bloodshed… use rat glue. Hehe

Now chester looks more like a man. :p

I think Chester was being kind lar. He could have easily killed the cat.

His barking also cannot get the cat to move away not sure he can kill or not. Ahh but I don’t want him to kill the cat.
