This post is dedicated to Daniel because I have durian’s pictures to annoy you.
My parents traveled about 25km (to and fro) just to buy these durians near midnight yesterday. It cost RM1 per durian. And you think they will buy few dozens home? Nope, just 9 durians! WT….f
We were very satisfied with the quality of the durians. We didn’t find any spoil one but few that hasn’t ripen.

Mom feeding Chester durian.

Chester waiting patiently…
He has been eating durians since he was less than a year old.
I like my durian fridge cold, how about you ?

 Why do ppl have to do this to me and Daniel? Sigh… *runs away and hides in the closet again*
My durians have to be cold. Freezer cold. And a little bitter, not too sweet. And better if it’s got a soft, creamy complexion. So I can only get the most perfect durians …
Did Chester burp after he had his share?
Poor Lex! She just fainted at Endroo’s when she saw the multitude of durians there.
:daydream: used to be a ‘hantu’ n eating a dozen at 1 go was normal stuff…. but nowadays i can eat 1 durian only at 1 time, wonder why?!!!
best durians for me are those that dropped, fresh fr my gramp’s orchard. 🙂
EEeeeeee…. durian!
Yes, I’m one of those unMalaysian Malaysians who can’t stand the smell/ taste of durians…
(That’s good news for everyone else though I suppose -> less people = more share per person, right?)
🙂
i love durian, but here in US i can only get the frozen kind from the asian market, and i worry they’re contaminated with pesticides. i wish i could find organic fresh durian… maybe in hawaii.

wondered why too… must’ve been the journey b4 finally consuming the gawd awesome fruit!!! :daydream: one can hear the shotgun “BOOM” n “SQUISH SQUISH” rustling of fallen durians at night. there’s the mind boggling anticipation of where they must’ve dropped to, the agonizing wait for morn to come; god! don’t let the squirrels or boars or worse… those pig persons of thieves beat me to ’em!!… :nailbiting: n the prolonging temptation of one’s dreams. at dawn, id grab me gram’s parang and started my hunt. could’ve sworn i heard about 20 shots wringing out the night thru’. had to be on full alert, didn’t want any late droppers on me head  n I used to close my eyes, using my acute sense of smell to locate elusive durians from behind bushes. just imagine the fresh morning air meshed with the sweet tangy smell of durians. ordeal done, then id started to eat like crazy. 😀 dont u think this whole process sorta enhance the sexiness of durians? heh!heh! buying longgok” made the fruit less alluring. yea, i guess that’s why i eat less of ‘em now. hmm…. 🙁
