This cutie pie who was previously sick, now ‘demanded’ me to add more kibbles to his plate every evening. I gotta be careful though. Vet told me to reduce his weight since he’s a senior now.
A tiny ray lighting his golden fur.
I love his tights. Haha
Chester, you’re my sunshine.
I’m actually looking for a ‘lady’ golden retriever to mate with Chester because this dog has such high intelligence that I thought it would be a waste of his genes not to produce offspring of his kind. Is this selfish?

chester is lengzai la!
but why selfish? it’s okay to do so right? i mean mating…
It’s like creating a bunch of puppies GR and then have them suffer later (if luck is not on their side meeting irresponsibility owners).
Great lighting pics of Chester….brings out the color of the Golden.
You never know how the owners will treat them after the pup(s) are in their hands. Ranger’s breeder specifically gave out a laundry list of do’s and don’ts before buying the pup from her and if the pup (dog) does not turn out as the owner wants, the pup (dog) has to return to her whether near or far – not allowed to send to the shelter. Could give that a thought if you want.
Thanks.
I thought the person who will have full control of the pups will be the owner of the female dog owner, no? From what the vet told me, that’s usually the case unless you own both the male and female dog then you will have full control of the pups well-being. For providing male dog to mate with their female dog, we can either ask for a fee or a pup or two.
Yeah, Ranger’s breeder owns both the females and males. All for different needs – working/field (hunting, special needs) or companionship.
Not selfish la. I think Chester would enjoy being a daddy.
I think he would enjoy another companion. ๐
