Just today, we received a letter directed to my maid from the Embassy of Indonesia.
I thought there’s been some kind of trouble back home perhaps? or deportation? Yeah my mind love wondering to the extreme.
Anyway I found out later that it was a polling form. They have like 44 parties total. Wow oh wow very interesting. This is truly something I did not expect. Can’t believe my maid is a registered voter. Unfortunately it was the day after the Indonesia general election when we got it. Too late.
Other than this polling form, there are a couple of notes attached. Bahasa Indonesia is quite different from our Bahasa Malaysia you know? I didn’t know about it until I read those notes. I had fun tackling some of the Bahasa Indonesia words.
So now I’m testing you.
Guess what these words mean…
(Some of the words are really easy. Just read out loud and maybe you will know what it means)
1. Amplop (← cute one)
4. Perangko (← difficult one hehe)
6. Caleg (← another difficult one)
Answer will be revealed in the next post.
