결혼 못하는 남자 He Who Can’t Marry (Korean Drama)

Anyone remember Jewel of the Palace or more commonly known as Dae Jang Geum? I hope you do because that was one of the best Korean dramas ever produced and also because if you remember that drama, you must have remembered the love interest of Jang Geum (Lee Young Ae) that is Min Jung Ho. Ji Jin Hee was the man playing Jung Ho and when I found out he’s the leading man in He Who Can’t Marry, I was ecstatic! He is after all one fine good-looking man. Hehe 😛

He Who Can’t Marry (결혼 못하는 남자) is a special, fun and enjoyable drama. Ahhh… I LOVE this drama so much! Best of all you have Ji Jin Hee at his very best; I can laugh for hours just watching his weird quirky behavior and comical expression… this really is a man who knows how to act and bring out the very best of Jo Jae Hee. The rest of the characters were well-played too. I’m not sure why this drama has low ratings (in South Korea and worldwide) but I definitely recommend it to you all. It’s really fun!

“Love story of an extremely stubborn and absolutely inflexible 40-year-old bachelor.” Here is a man who just turned forty. He has his own architectural company and you can find some fine architectures if you google his name. Just by looking at his good appearance or his job, it would be hard to believe that he is not married yet. However…. Here is a man who doesn’t know how to communicate with other people. He is obstinate and never thought of living together with somebody. One day, he comes across a lady doctor who is quite similar to himself. After that day, he feels like to talk to her and rely upon her. Slowly, he starts to change. He becomes intimate with the dog next door, starts to meddle in another´s affairs, and realizes the preciousness of people around him. Would he be able to get married after all? If he gets married, who would be good for him? And how is he going to propose?

I have 4 favorites from the OST; 사랑핼래 (Want To Love) ~ the main song, 그대는 예뻐요, Oh3 and 입가에 맴돌던 얘기. There are a couple songs that I’ve not heard before. Well, Ji Jin Hee and Uhm Jung Hwa each sang a song as well.

I’ve actually watched this drama online few days ago and now waiting for this coming Saturday for the last 4 epis. 🙂 (tsk that means I’m watching it twice! Hahaha)

Remember to watch it. Highly recommended. You’ll thank me later. 🙂
