Chocolate Bliss

I am in a bliss mode right now. My freezer is fully loaded with chocolate! Mmmm Mm…

Bought a box of Godiva to try out during my recent trip to HK. Was checking out Lindt (my fav) at HK International Airport but then decided to grab a Godiva since I’ve been eying this brand of chocolate for the past so many years. That has to be my most expensive chocolate purchase yet.

Love the golden box.

Godiva Chocolatier 30pcs Gold Ballotin. So are they good, tasty and worth it?
They’re delicious but I wasn’t wow-ed by it. Unbelievable yeah? Haha

I also received some fresh stock of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (yum-yum-yum) courtesy of my dear sis. Dad who came back from France surprises us with not 1 but 5 types of chocolates. Wohooo. It was very unlike him because he never buy so many, what more they are not the typical chocolate bars. Perhaps he was charmed by the French Riviera?

Here are the 3 chocolates which I think are unique, superb and tasty.

Are they pop corn?

Nope. They’re chocolate-covered puffed rice. They’re not made of smooth white chocolate but grainy chocolate… which is so yummy.

Unique yeah? Taste really good too. CRUNCH!!!

Love this black box too.
Maxim’s De Paris… an unknown chocolate brand to me. But not anymore. πŸ™‚

Maxim’s De Paris 12 dark chocolates in tiramisu flavour.
Delicious and yummy!

Another lovely box. I’m so keeping all of them. Hahaha

Maxim’s De Paris Assortment of 44 fine chocolates.
I’ve never tasted anything quite like it. A few pieces from this box really wow-ed me to beyond words!!! BLISS man!

Let’s admire this box of chocolate one last time. Lau hau sui!!!
This set is just a little cheaper compared to Godiva but wohooo I will choose Maxim’s De Paris anytime man.

Found out Maxim’s main business is in restaurant. I’m so gonna visit it one day. Ohh and from this day on I will be on the lookout for Maxim’s chocolate. Kekeke

Chocolate bliss? Yeah!

Chocolate coma? Not yet. I need to gather more yummy chocolate first. LOL

Have you tried Italian chocolate named Baratti & Milano? I prefer it over Lindt! πŸ™‚

I like Godiva but other Belgium, Swiss, French, Swedish and Russian chocolates that I have tried are better. Reeses’ are not my cup of tea but I can wallop the whole bag of Almond Joys! πŸ˜›

Haha I’m the opposite of you. Almond Joys is not my cup of tea. πŸ˜›
