The 2013 Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is held from 6th to 15th December 2013 at MIECC @ The Mines. The sale begins at 7am, 6th December and ends at 9pm, 15th December. That’s 230 hours non-stop baby!!!. We had planned to go on the morning of 7th but my sis couldn’t wake up (hahaha) so we went on the same day at night around 7pm.
My 2nd time at Big Bad Wolf Book Sale. Wasn’t as excited as I already know what to expect. Read my first Big Bad Wolf experience.
We departed from home at 7pm and reached MIECC at 9pm. Yup, as usual dreadlocks after the Sungai Besi Highway toll. There are plenty of parking spaces avaialble at MIECC (Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre). So no worry. Parking fee is RM3 per entry.
These are my reinforcement!!!
Oh yes the world’s biggest book sale!
Crowds at 9.25pm on 7th Dec 2013.
@ 11.13pm. Still so many people!
My interest lies in the cookery department… so I spend most of my time here. There are about 9 long tables of cookery books if I remember correctly.
This particular table is so messy. Can’t even browse the books.
Cute Big Bad Wolf Book Sale 2013 bookmarks.
I went with my sis and mom. Total books we bought are 8 units at only RM105.00!!! So cheap yeah. We spent a total of 3 hours there.
Here’s the break down of the books we purchased and its price:
1. Delicious Days by Nicole Stich RM15.00
2. 75 Great Juices RM8.00
3. Taste of Korea by Young Jin Song RM15.00
4. Onions RM12.00
1. Diet & Nutrition RM10.00
2. Best You Guide to Women’s Health RM10.00
3. Healthy Heart Miracle Diet RM15.00
4. Food That Harm, Food That Heal RM20.00
Again, mom bought the most books… a total of 5 while I got 2 and sis 1. When we left at 12am, traffic is still slow moving after the toll plaza. I wished them good luck. Hahaha
We bought very little book compared to last year. Do you know why? Because there are not many interesting ones. We were disappointed actually. Although the selection of cookery books offered this year were better however most were quite boring and low quality. Last year’s sale were better. Come on BookXcess, bring in those cookery books from famous cooks and chefs. That’s what I want!
