Cloth Pads – 3rd Take

Ladies, if you wear cloth pads and are a big fan of cloth pads come give me a shout-out at the comment box!

I’ve been testing 2 new cloth pads which I bought from Luna Wolf few months back. And now I’m ready to tell you what I think about these cloth pads. If you read my previous post about cloth pads you’ll know that I’m still looking for the perfect cloth pads. Will this be the one?

Please note this is not a sponsored post. Just a post to share my views on the cloth pads that I’ve tried.

Why did I choose Luna Wolf? Well, remember I complaint about side leakage? Luna Wolf’s cloth pads are wider compared to Domino Pads. Hence I thought I’ll give it a try. My New Moon Pads (my very first cloth pads) are even wider but are a little clumsy due to its constructions if I may say.

Behold my new pads…

Beautiful fabric pattern – 2nd reason why I choose Luna Wolf.
The purple one is called Electric Garden 11.75″ while the pink one is called Wildflowers at 10.25″.

Seriously I was taken aback when I saw the pads. They are huge (you can’t judge the size from this picture). Felt kinda awkward at first wear due to its large and thick size but I got used to it the second time around.

Clip-on aka winged pads… clip-on is a must-have criteria for me.

At first glance, it doesn’t seem like the pads will absorb well (based visually on the fabric) but hell… it does absorb well. In fact I didn’t have any ‘side leak accident’ at all save for one ‘back leakage’ coz I wore the pink one (shorter of the two) to sleep on the first night.

Like Domoino Pads, due to its good absorption material I didn’t need to change pad for say 12 hours or more during heavy flow. Ya know sometimes when you’re out and about this will come in useful.

So all in all, I like the pattern design and the total coverage it gives me (oh yeah no more side leakage!) BUT the thick and large size puts me off a bit (just a little). Please note these are from UK and its rather expensive due to currency conversion rate.

Btw I bought more cloth pads 2 weeks ago… not that I need them but just the thought of shopping for cloth pads in beautiful fabric thrills me. Haha. I think those will be my last purchases. Gotta save money coz that’s one of the plus point of wearing cloth pads. πŸ˜›

Woohoo, glad you found a brand that helps with leakage. Their pads look really good. Hahaha you got me tempted to look into getting some now! πŸ™‚

Yes, New Moon pads gives me leakage, too. I use them mostly on lighter days. On heavier days I’m using Amazpad which I custom ordered them. They are still the best so far….*fingers itching for new ones* πŸ˜€

I had to use disposal during my camping trip, oh my, i hated, hated it 100 times.

Initially yes you’ll feel that way but somehow you’ll get use to it. Really!
That’s your own blood ma. Hehe. If you have a washing machine at your disposable you can just throw the pads in there.

After so many years trying to convert my sister, she still refuses to jump into cloth pad bandwagon. Aiseh! Hopefully that’s not the case for my readers.
