Almost everyone have read or watched The Da Vinci Code, the book and the movie sometimes in the past. If not surely you must’ve heard about it.
I read The Da Vinci Code way before the book was to be made into a movie. Because I love the story so much, I went on and purchase Dan Brown’s 3 others novel; Digital Fortress, Deception Point and Angels & Demons.
When the movie came, I was disappointed… it’s not as good as the book. Always like that if you ‘read book first, watch movie second’. Fast forward 2 days ago, I get to watch this film again at Astro. This time: I feel the movie is not that bad la. I got goose-bumps all over my body the part when Langdon disclose Sophie’s identity. Now that didn’t happen when I watch the movie first time. At that time in fact I thought it was hilarious to hear it coming from TGV’s surround speakers.
Anyone of you read Angels & Demons before? In my opinion Angels & Demons is Dan Brown’s finest work. 100% better than The Da Vinci Code. This book tells the secret brotherhood, Illuminati and its connection with Vatican City. It’s full of mysteries, plots, history of few hundred years ago, famous names in the Illuminati brotherhood… hehehe Wait 2009, Angels & Demons the movie will be out. Better read the book first.
Btw, of all the novels I’ve read in my entire life so far the greatest and finest work is from a book called Shantaram.
It’s so beautifully written. A true account of a man called Gregory David Roberts @ Shantaram from his journey as an escapee from the Australian prison to India’s Bombay slum, becoming a mafia, acting in Bollywood films and finally to fighting with the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan. 10/10!!! I’m waiting for the 2nd installment of the book for 3 years already. Grrrr. Oh and the Shantaram movie is in the making too. Johnny Depp is the leading man. Wait next year too. 2 great movies (I hope)!!! Wohoooooo
Oklah I think I should stop here. I can see you yawning already.
p/s: I’m reading another wonderful book. Share later if it’s REALLY that good. Life is like a box of chocolate. Yum-Yum!

oh yeshhhh… Angels & Demons was a great story :kowtow: . Like you said, much better than Da Vinci Code. I didn’t read his 2 other books as a friend told me that they are not near half as good as DV Code. Is that so
i watch the movie and it seems ok , unlike what others say about it, that it will change your faith in church or you will ask so many question pertaining to the catholic religion, and so on and so on.

Coz Im an addict ! to this ebook stuff… i actually downloading catherine coulter FBI series to my symbian phone.
Based on your recommendation on Shantaram, I’m gonna read the book. I love to read books that have its equivalent movie adaptations. Because for some reason I like to compare the two versions 🙂
