The below conversation happened yesterday evening.
My maid is at the living hall while I’m at the dining area. Suddenly I hear her saying
Maid: blah blah blah…
Not sure what she’s asking, I go to the living hall.
Maid: Bapak Ronaldo datang Malaysia ya? *Is it true that Ronado’s dad came to Malaysia?
Maid pointing to a picture of Sir Alex Ferguson in the newspaper.
My heart burst out laughing.
Me: Bapak Ronaldo? You tau ke dia bukan bapak Ronaldo? *Huh? Ronaldo’s dad? Do you know that he’s not Ronaldo’s dad?
Maid: Tau. Dia boss dia. *I know. He’s Ronaldo’s boss.
Me: Mereka datang Malaysia. Tapi Ronaldo takde. You tau kenapa? *They came to Malaysia but Ronaldo is not here. Do you know why?
Me: Ronaldo sudah gi club lain. Hahahahaha *Ronaldo joined another club. LOL
Maid: Hah! Kenapa? Kenapa dia gi club lain? *Why? Why did he join another club?
Me: Dia suka duit. *He loves money
So yes, my maid is a Ronaldo die-hard fan. She will join me watch ManUtd play on the TV sometimes.
Later…
Me: Kenapa you suka Ronaldo ar? *Why do you like Ronaldo?
Me: You tau ke dia macam perempuan? *Do you know he’s a sissy like a lady?
Maid: Tau *I know

Ahh… no chance to ask her why she likes him. She’s off to her chores.
