Live In Malaysia: Roger Federer Vs Pete Sampras

Yup I was there again at Stadium Malawati – yesterday, this time for the Clash of Times match between Roger Federer and Pete Sampras. I came in late and the match has just started.

The stadium is packed. I would say about 95% occupied.

The crowd was amazing. Pete Sampras was amazing and FUNNY too. I had a jolly good time. Roger Federer seems abit lost at times, not as sharp as usually. Of course this is just an exhibition match. I would expect this match result to be almost same as the one in Seoul but wohoooo! We got even better… 2 sets both with tie breakers. That’s good enough.

Pete, you can still kick-ass you know.

The final result is Roger Federer to Pete Sampras, 7-6,7-6.

Going round the court.

Good friends walk together eh.

Overall, I enjoyed this match between Roger Federer vs Pete Sampras more than Rafael Nadal vs Richard Gasquet match. I’m really glad that I have the chance to watch 4 of them play LIVE.

My next goal is to go watch a tennis grand slam. Australia is near… very near. Hehehe. That would be so cool eh.

yeeehaa yup, it’s juz great, the game was full of excitement and anticipation, i watched it full last nite….but in front of tv..hahaha, well, obviously Federer plays more consistant tennis (cos he is fitter), but his style is totally the opposite with Sam, he plays defensively and hit winners on counter attack, while Sam goes to the net all the time to press his opponents. It’s really a great match, glad to c Sam back..but…too bad Macau is going to be his last ever stop.. :(…..
