While day 2 was spent mostly at the French Quarter, we have all the day 3 sticking our butts at the Old Quarter (north of Hoàn Kiếm Lake).
We begin our day by having Booth avocado for our 1st breakfast which we bought from Vinmart on our first day. The avocado was very creamy. I had it with sea salt which I brought along with my trip.

Woke up around 7am plus on day 2. Had cheese bread bought from the previous day for brekkie. By the time we’re ready to rock, it’s nearly 9am.
By the way, we checked the weather forecast and noted that there will be rain on Tuesday onward (day 3). We planned for an outdoor activity on day 3, and because of the forecast rain, we changed it to day 2 which is today.
We took MTR to Central station, and from there walked to The Peak Tram Lower Terminus at Garden Road. Yup, we’re visiting Victoria Peak aka The Peak again (my second time) but this time we’re doing something different. We’re visiting Victoria Peak Garden. I bet most of you haven’t heard about this place before.
If you’d watched HK TVB dramas from a long time ago, I’m sure you’re able to recognize this building which regularly appears in TVB dramas. This is Bank of China Tower. We passed by it on the way to The Peak Tram Lower Terminus.
There’s not much to do on day 7 since basically our Jeonju trip is kinda free and easy. We woke up late and depart to our breakfast place at 10am. Hehe Check out our kongnamul gukbap breakfast at Waengi.
Cute ain’t it? This is rice and sweet potato crackers. It’s not super sweet. A lil’ bland but yummy.

Breakfast is blueberries bought at Oxford Street the day before (I think it cost £1.50) and biscuit from Paris. Why the light breakfast? Coz we’re going to Borough Market!

This is our ‘homemade’ croissant breakfast. Clockwise from left: the very yummy and soft croissants, rocket leaves, mustard, sardines and tomato. Plastic cutlery recycled from MAS flight. Gotta said it’s the best breakfast in Paris! Wohoo!
