Seoul Day 10: Gwangjang Market, Gwanghwamun Square, Cheonggyecheon & Insadong

Day 10 is another packed day. There’s sightseeing, food and shopping. Let’s go! First thing in the morning, we visited Gwangjang Market 광장시장. It’s a market where you can buy vegetables, fruits, apparel, bedding, hanboks, has food corner and restaurant, etc.

I got wide-eyed when I saw this shop. All the things there are so appealing. But I didn’t dare to go near and touch them or else I might buy a few home. Which isn’t a good thing because I want to reserve the remaining space I have in my luggage for more clothes. Hahaha

Jeonju + Seoul Day 8: Stay In GAM, Hongdae & Ewha Womans University

Today morning on day 8 we will be travelling by train to Seoul. Seoul will be our last destination before we fly back to Malaysia. Mr Lee who is our friendly Buykyungdang Hanok Guesthouse host has booked a taxi for us the previous day. The taxi arrived on time and soon we find ourself at Jeonju Station waiting for our train. Gotta say the taxi took a long detour as this time the ride cost us 6,400 won. Previously when we went to Jeonju Station to buy our train tickets, the taxi ride only cost us 5,400 won & 6,000 won. Anyway, we choose to go to Seoul by train because we’ve tried buses before and because we wanted to experience the KTX.

KTX train from Jeonju to Yongsan Station, Seoul arrived at Jeonju Station on time at 8.49am.

Busan + Jeonju Day 6: Bukyungdang Hanok Guesthouse, Jeonju Hanok Village Scenic Walk & Omokdae

Beware extra long post…

After accomplishing our cherry blossom mission at Jinhae and visiting some interesting places in Busan, it’s now time we head to another location. This morning we are going to Jeonju. From my investigation before this trip, I found out you can take bus at Busan Central Bus Terminal to Jeonju. However while I was in Seobu Bus Terminal (while buying bus ticket for Jinhae), I found out there is bus to Jeonju too. Seobu Bus Terminal is nearer to my accommodation compared to having to travel to Nopo metro for Busan Central Bus Terminal.

We checked out from Dynamic Guesthouse and reached Seobu Bus Terminal near Sasang metro few minutes before 8am. Managed to buy 9am bus tickets to Jeonju. While at the bus terminal we also topped up our T-money cards.

Our bus tickets from Busan Seobu Bus Terminal to Jeonju @ 17,000 won pax (RM51.00). It’s a jikaeng (직행) bus which goes straight to its destination.
