I promised that I will share what I think of Etude House’s mask sheet and here’s my review. Plus another review on The Body Shop Kistna. It was my best gamble during my recent South Korea trip! Yes, I just came back from South Korea which explain the silence in this blog. I’ll blog about the trip soon. Meanwhile…
Etude House Mask Sheet
All’s great from putting on the mask and the 15-20 mins pampering period. The mask wetness is moderate. After removing the mask, I will tap at my skin with my fingers for the liquid to be absorbed. Anyhow, the stickiness is there. It’s better than The Face Shop range which I tried earlier but this is definitely not my favorite. Secret Key Snail+EGF Repairing mask pack still triumph in my book. As for the scent, they were quite weak.
This time I’m sharing with you my current favorite shower gel and mask sheet and the not so nice mask sheet. Read on.
The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel
This is actually my second bottle of Moringa shower gel in a row from The Body Shop. According to the website it says this shower gel contain real moringa seed oil and the delicate scent of white flowers. To me the scent reminds me of a good quality Chinese tea! Yeah you read that right. It’s like drinking a cup of warm fuzzy tea, naked in my shower. Hahaha I just love the scent.
I may or may not be a Body Shop fan. I like their body moisturizer range and not so on their face care and shampoo range. Anyway I tried their famous Body Butter and the typical Body Lotion and will let you know what I think below. All were purchased by my sis when she was in the States. Body Shop USA occasionally offer very good promotion and sales and that’s how I came to ask my sis to lug them home. Worth it for their price. REALLY!
The Body Shop Shea Body Butter
Shea body butter has nice interesting nutty smell. My favorite. 🙂 In terms of moisturizing, it’s at the medium range. It’s a little sticky at first when you apply on your skin.
Here’s a round of my favorite and un-favorite things.
Seaweed Pore Perfector
A year ago (ohh that long ago?) here I wrote that I’m trying on a product that will help reduce/refine large pores. I tried the Seaweed Pore Perfector from The Body Shop because it has rave reviews from The Body Shop USA site. To maximized its effect, I uses the seaweed range facial wash, day cream and facial exfoliator as well. A year later (yes I gave it a long chances) sad to say there is not a single improvement at all. 🙁
Btw, I’ve just started the Oil Cleansing Method regime whereby oil is use to clean face. Will tell ya how it goes later.
Starting today I’m going to share my views on some of the products that I’ve used and currently using (can be anything; skin care, clothes, gadget, etc). I’ve done this before… checkout some of them here: gorillapod, laptop, tees, cloth pads, bags. But starting from this post I’m trying to be more active in this matter. Read: Try!
Tsk I’m on the hunt for a ‘miracle’ product that can help reduce my biggie pores. And after that I will gather all my strength to combat black heads. LOL
Ok… let’s review 3 products today from ZA, Victoria Secret and The Body Shop.
First up is ZA Deep Hydrating Gel.
This is the first ZA product that I’ve tried. I usually apply this gel after cleansing. It’s not oily and the gel will dried off quickly. I like the smell of the gel too. Very refreshing. Unfortunately after completing a unit I didn’t see any changes to my large pores but my face do felt hydrated. (50g/1.7oz)
