Morib Beach @ Banting, Selangor

Hey, anyone miss me???

To continue where I left off, after visiting Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple in Jenjarom, we planned for an early dinner in Banting town. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed, so we decide to visit Morib Beach instead which is not far away.

I used to go to Morib Beach a lot when I was really young. My most vivid memory was having picnic with my cousins. Ahh those were the good ole’ times.

Not sure If I’m really getting old or what, my memories keep failing me. I only have VERY faint memory of this monument. It’s like I’m seeing it for the first time.

Monument in remembrance of 46 Indian Beach Group during World War II in 1945.

As expected, this beach is empty save for a few families. Even from its hey day, this beach has always looked bleak.

I can really feel its loneliness. A forgotten happy place.

Just when you think everything are going away, you chance upon the golden hue waves.

In which it painted the sands golden. Hoping someday this place will be glorified again.

Maybe you did, maybe you didn’t. Ask your parents and see. Haha

I heard of Morib beach but never step foot on the beach….and never knew this was the landing post for the foreign troops.

This place is miss-able but it’s worth stopping over if you’re here for a gastronomic seafood trip. πŸ™‚

I didn’t know about the landing too.
