When I was in Victoria, Australia last year, I saw some very interesting vehicle license plates around the city with cool slogans.
Take a look:
Victoria – The Place To Be is a 2000s series plate. It means this car was registered in 2000s. The Place To Be is the slogan of Victoria.
Victoria – On The Move is a 1994 series plate.
Victoria – Garden State is from the 1997 series.
Canberra – The Nation’s Capital is the current slogan used.
Last but not least, my rented car license plate was registered in New South Wales. NSW plates has no slogan currently.
Here’s an interesting read about license plates of Australia (wikipedia).
It would be nice to have slogan in Malaysia’s license plates. Don’t you think so? Ours are just too dull. Zzzzzz…
Say Kuala Lumpur – The Twin Towers, Melaka – Food Lovers State, Sabah – Land Above The Wind, Selangor – City of Jam! Hahahaha
p/s: My favorite vehicle license plates are from USA. Who’s with me? π

Yeah, I agree, license plates in the US are unique within each state. Mine is like this http://www.plateshack.com/y2k/Minnesota2/mn2009.jpg
Wah cantik! The middle thingy (btw UUC and 271) is the state shape right?
10,000 lakes in Minnesota?
Yeah, that’s the shape of the state of MN and the land of 10,000 lakes is really no joke…..there’s a lake almost everywhere you go.
Unbelievable! So many lakes. How big is MN? lebih kurang sama with which state in Malaysia? You gotta show us some of the beautiful lakes in your blog post later ya.
