Selayang Hot Spring

I googled ‘Selayang Hot Spring’ before my trip there but found no images of this particular place. But I already have an image etched in my mind and it was the same image that I found when I arrived there.

It’s not a well-off place but enough to cater for the local Selayang folks and the folks around Klang Valley.

There are 3 hot spring pools here.

This is the hottest of the lot. Nobody dare to put their legs in this pool. Bubbles and steam can be seen rising from this turquoise pool. There are living algaes in this pool which I think is the reason for the turquoise color. A faint stench of sulfur can also be detected.

This is the second hottest pool and it has the same beautiful turquoise color. This pool is a bit murky and only the brave dare to splash the water from this hot spring to their body.

The third and last hot spring, the least hot among the 3 is the crowd favourite. The water here is really muddy and no way am I going to put my legs in here. Who knows what lurk inside?

Algae found in these pools can be use to treat skin and face problem.

I think one visit to Selayang Hot Spring is enough for me.
Happy Weekend.

I went to hot spring once, forgot the place name, somewhere north Malaysia. I seen once, an old man, look like Japanese, swim in the hot spring! I felt so torture by putting my foot inside! Beside that, I tried the boil egg, and it not working after 1 hour, even we found an egg that was inside there for a long time, the egg is still in liquid when we break it.

Aiyo! I went there on Sunday kakaka, same place and same number of the pools there. The bottom of the pools are darn yucky man! and I actually saw a CHINA GIRL dressed like she going to a night dinner in dress and rendam her whole body in..that was the only thing that stopped me from putting my hand or leg inside. First thing came into my mind.. ” what the hell is wrong with her “part” that she need to rendam herself while wearing a dress into the pool and with so many people around”. -_____-“

Babyfiona, yes yucky and muddy. You don’t know what lurks beneath. Umpphhh surely she got some secret part need to rendam.
