제빵왕 김탁구 Bread, Love & Dreams (Korean Drama)

Baking King, Kim Tak Gu (제빵왕 김탁구) or better known as Bread, Love & Dreams is my favorite Korean drama of 2010. It’s a drama about hope, dream, love, passion and wickedness along the way. I could really feel the positive emotions mentioned. That’s how strong this drama is. It makes you want to be a better person. It reminds you that HOPE is a dream that never sleeps. 🙂

It is at this worst moment in life that Tak-gu meets his everlasting mentor, “Pal bong” and his true love, “Yang Mee -soon.” From then on he finally determines to embrace his new life by becoming the world’s best baker. However, his journey to his goal appears to be tough due to unexpected encounters with his first love and his step brother Gu Ma-joon. So how would his journey end?

The above synopsis is only a small part of a bigger picture. Do watch it and I assure you, you will like it very mucho. 😉

If you want to read a more plot revealing post, then Review: KBS’ Baker King, Kim Tak Goo – Best Korean Drama of the Year is recommended. Though there’s 1 thing I would like to point out. For Tak Gu, it has never been about revenge.

Are the K-dramas really that good? My sis and mom are crazy over them. They said K-dramas are way better than the TBV ones.

Tekkaus, yes download from epi 1 onwards. I didn’t watch the first few epis actually. Gonna download and watch them later.

Dawn, some are really good like this one. I stopped watching TVB very long ago because I don’t subscribe to Wah Lai Toi anymore. You’ve never watch K-drama before? Make this your first. Really. 🙂 Ask your mom and sis whether they are watching this. Hehe
