From My Experience: South Korea 2014 Travel Tips

Here are a little something more from my South Korea 2014 travel. Some tips I learned and wanna share here.

1. Where to view cherry blossom during spring in South Korea?
I visited Seoul, Busan, Jinhae, Jeonju and Jeju island during spring for cherry blossom and I can tell you that it’s all about luck. We managed to catch the cherry blossom flowers at its peak in Busan. Whereas in Jinhae, Jeonju and Jeju island they were already past their best. We had the least luck in Seoul.

Busan

Where: Dalmaji Road
How we went: At Haeundae subway station, we took a cab to Dalmaji Road. We told the cab driver to bring us to Haewoljeong 해월정 which is the famous pavilion at Dalmaji Road. Cab fee 3,600 won.

Jeju-do + Busan Day 4: Bye Jeju, Dynamic Guesthouse, Cherry Blossom at Dalmaji Road, Haeundae Beach & Gwangalli Beach

Today day 4 we packed our bags and head to the airport. We’re leaving Jeju (kinda sad) and yet excited for what’s coming next. We departed from Yilin Pension at 7am and reached KT Kumho at 8.25am.

On the way we pumped the car again since the petrol gauge has gone down a bit. We need to return the car back to KT Kumho in full tank. 3.646 litre for 7,000 won. Haha

Jeju-do Self Drive Day 2: Jusangjeolli Cliff, Yongmeori Coast & Cheonjiyeon Falls (Part 2)

So after witnessing ice at Yeongsil Trail in Hallasan National Park and a hearty breakfast meal at Yeongsil Rest Area, we proceed to Jusangjeolli Cliff next. It’s about half an hour drive from there. I drove for day 2 and day 3 in Jeju and my sister only drove for the first and last day (4th day). Frankly speaking I had a hard time driving on the left hand side. It’s something I didn’t expect (to be this hard) because it was fun driving at The Great Ocean Road, Australia which also happens to be left hand driving. I’ve no idea why. Ohh and I keep mistaking the wiper signal with the light indicator signal. LOL

Entrance ticket to Jusangjeolli Cliff. Cost 2,00 won per person (RM6).
