Finally I’ve reached the half way blogging point of my Japan trip. Took me 6 months since my trip back in Nov-Dec last year to reach this mark. LOL Anyway, I’m planning to complete this travelogue ASAP, hopefully before November so that those planning this trip for autumn can get some tips from my Japan posts.

Here’s day 8!

On this day, we’re leaving Kyoto for Fujikawaguchiko. It has been my lifelong dream to see Mount Fuji with my naked eyes and there’s no way I would come to Japan and skip it. There are many places where one can view Mount Fuji. The famous of the lots are Hakone, Kamakura, Lake Kawaguchi, Gotemba, etc. I choose Lake Kawaguchi (Kawaguchiko) which is located at Fujikawaguchiko (town) because I think it has the best overall view of this gigantic mountain. This is based on the images I found in WWW.

Fujikawaguchiko is located at Yamanashi prefecture. To come here from Kyoto, I took shinkansen from Kyoto Station to Mishima Station. And from Mishima Station, I boarded a bus to Kawaguchiko Station. Sounds easy, right? Come now… I’ll describe the journey in detailed.

Nara Day 3: Todai-ji, Cheeky Deer & Fall Foliage

My 2016 Japan travelogue so far:
Osaka Day 1: Ana Crowne Plaza & Sennichimae Doguyasuji
Osaka Day 2: Osaka Station, Kuromon Market & Dotonbori

Beware: VERYYYYYY long post. Hehehe

My day 3 in Japan coincide with Japan’s Labour Thanksgiving Day (23rd November). It’s a public holiday in Japan. To escape major jam (though I did not witness any), I decided to visit Nara.

On this day I woke up even earlier. 6.10am yo!
Breakfast In Osaka
Ma sandwiches @ 258 yen from 7-11 and sencha from hotel. I’ve heard sandwiches from Japan’s convenience stores are yum especially egg salad sandwich. My threesome are egg salad, tuna and ham. No doubt everything’s yum but the egg salad really is in a league of its own. Blown away! *BAM*

Osaka Day 2: Osaka Station, Kuromon Market & Dotonbori

Check out Osaka Day 1: Ana Crowne Plaza & Sennichimae Doguyasuji if you have not.

Alert! Very long post…

I woke up rather early on day 2 in Osaka. 6.30am to be precised. For breakfast, I ate sweet potato bread from Takaki Bakery (bought from 7-11 the previous day; so yummy!) and sencha (complimentary from hotel). The best part? Enjoying the morning window view while having breakfast. At 11am, we ride the free Ana shuttle bus to Osaka Station.

Dojima River @ Osaka
This is Dojima River. Taken from bus. If we were to walk to subway, this is one of the routes.
