넝쿨째 굴러온 당신 My Husband Got A Family (Korean Drama)

I know I swear off weekend Korean dramas because of its long episodes but this is another one that I couldn’t let off because of its interesting storyline. My Husband Got A Family has a total of 58 episodes and it has Kim Nam Joo to boost. I’ve never seen her dramas before but just 1 episode of this is enough to tell me she’s a very powerful lady.

I thought ‘My Husband Got A Family’ is an odd name for a drama. I like ‘Unexpected You’ better. Anyway this drama in the core tell the story of how a woman deals with his parents-in-law and 3 sister-in-laws with a very loving husband in tow. It’s quite fun to watch but overall I watch it for the mere purpose of how she deals with her in-laws. Heh!

Kim Nam Joo as Cha Yoon Hee (wife) and Yoo Jun Sang as Terry Kang aka Bang Gwi Nam (Korea’s perfect husband).

The star of this drama is Kim Nam Joo as Cha Yoon Hee. She’s just superb. I don’t fancy Yoo Jun Sang’s acting (who acted as Cha Yoon Hee’s husband). His acting is very green. I thought this was his first drama when I found out actually he has acted in a lot. In my opinion he’s the weakest link in this drama. He failed to carry out the emotions every time except for just a couple of times (say less than 5 times) when he really nailed it.

Bang Mal Sook with Cha Se Kwang.

Yi Sook with Chun Jae Yong.

I’m more invested in Gwi Nam’s three sister stories especially Yi Sook and Mal Sook. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE this clueless boy called Bang Jang Goon. The time when Cha Se Kwang tutored Jang Goon… well those are my favorite episodes. Haha

Compare this drama which has higher ratings and with more famous actors/actress line ups than My Love, My Family (my first weekend drama a year ago), I actually love My Love, My Family more because it manages to tug at my heartstrings.

Still this is a good watch. If not watch for the sake of the daughter-in-law and mother fight. ROAR!

p/s: I’m skipping My Daughter, Seo Young (the weekend drama after Unexpected You). Need to rest. I did that with Ojakyo Brothers too (after watching My Love, My Family). Most probably will pick the next one up if it’s good.

Wow, you are fast with your K-dramas. I’m still stuck at Epi 28 on Great Queen Seondoek! LOL

I know, my sis said the same thing. I only watch 10 -15 mins every day when I get home from work at night and one or two episodes during the weekends but sometimes none. Sigh……
